Dr. Shashi is an ophthalmologist and vitreoretina surgeon with expertise in the medical (retinal laser, intravitreal injections) and surgical management of retinal diseases, including diabetic retinopathy,retinal vein occlusion, retinal detachment, macular disorders , complex vitreoretinal conditions and Uveitis cases.
She completed her MS in Ophthalmology from King George’s Medical University, Lucknow, followed by fellowship training in Vitreoretina Surgery from Retina Institute of Karnataka, Bangalore. She has also served as a Senior Resident for three years, gaining extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of complex eye disorders.
Dr. Shashi combines advanced surgical skills with an evidence-based and patient-centered approach to care. Her academic work includes publications in national and international journals, presentations at multiple national conferences, and recognition through awards for scientific publication.
